The 2016 Global Slavery Index found 48.5m people are living in modern slavery globally.

58% of these people living in just 5 countries: India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Uzbekistan.

39 leaders from 19 faiths have now signed the Joint Declaration of Religious Leaders Against Modern Slavery.

The Freedom Fund have liberated almost 9,000 people from slavery and positively impacted 200,000 lives.


5,000 Indigenous people have secured long term employment through GenerationOne's VTEC program.

Trials of the Healthy Welfare Card are significantly reducing the harm caused by drug and alcohol abuse in both Ceduna and the East Kimberley.


Students at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts have worked intensely with 22 visiting artists.

Over 50 arts, culture and community organisations were supported by Minderoo this year.


10 PhD candidates awarded scholarships at Western Australian universities.


$20 million was committed by the Australian Government to enhance 13 place-based models of early childhood service delivery.
